Wedding Photography - Diamond Photography

   Hello I'm Richard Diamond from Diamond photography. In 1981, photography became a hobby and no matter the event, my camera was in hand ready to freeze that moment in time.

   Through the years wedding photography became a special interest of mine. Every wedding I'd attend, I'd follow the photographer taking the same pictures they would. A friend of mine found about this interest of mine and asked if I would photograph his back yard wedding. I brought this portfolio to a professional photographer and was offered a position as an assistant photographer.

   In 1995 I was hired as a professional photographer and since then I have averaged twenty to thirty weddings per year. In 1997 I formed Diamond Photography and all of my customers have been from referrals.

The Photography

Starting at the bride's home, I take the traditional poses in color and black & white which include many candid shots that capture the feeling in the home. One of my most popular photos is the father's first look at his daughter in her wedding gown.

During the ceremony and receiving line, I'm constantly searching for those special moments from the bride and groom, and the guests, that will give your photo album that special wedding day feeling. Formal photographs are then taken at a location of your choosing with the wedding party, family members, or anyone else you'd like to have in your album. My well known candid shots during the reception of your entire guest list will capture the fun and excitant of your special day. I never limit my film use which means you'll have plenty of great memories in your proof album.

The Equipment

I use the best Nikon and Contax camera equipment and use Kodak and Fuji professional series film.
All of the exposed film is then hand delivered to a local lab. Your proof album will be ready for pickup in fourteen to twenty days. I can also provide a wedding photo CD-ROM viewable from your computer. Just call or write and it will be shipped to you.
